Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia congratulates Prof. Dr. dr. Erni Hernawati Purwaningsih, M.S. for his appointment as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia. Prof. Dr. dr. Erni Hernawati Purwaningsih, M.S. is one of the permanent lecturers of the Biomedical Sciences Doctoral Program.
For information, the University of Indonesia Board of Trustees (MWA UI) is an institution that carries out normative functions in the non-academic field representing the Government, Society, and University of Indonesia to determine general policies, supervise, evaluate various existing aspects including financial management. The Board of Trustees consists of 17 (seventeen) people consisting:
- Elements of the Minister (1 Person)
- Rector’s Element (1 Person)
- Community Elements (6 People)
- Student Element (1 Person)
- Elements of Education Personnel (1 Person)
- Elements of Lecturers (7 People)
In addition, there are several provisions regarding the Board of Trustees that need to be considered, including:
- Members of the University of Indonesia Board of Trustees are appointed and dismissed by the Minister based on the recommendation of the Academic Senate.
- Members of the University of Indonesia Board of Trustees, except those representing the Student element, are elected for a term of office of 5 (five) years and may be re-elected for 1 (one) term of office.
- MWA members representing the Student element are elected for a term of office of 1 (one) year and may be re-elected for 1 (one) term of office.
- The MWA is led by a chairman and assisted by a secretary for a term of office of 2.5 (two points five) years and may be re-elected for 1 (one) term of office.
