The 2nd Global Academic Program on Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics

The 2nd Global Academic Program on Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics is an annual joint global program from Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences – FMUI, SEAMEO – RECFON, and The Rowett Institute University of Aberdeen. The program will start from 23 May 2022 to 29 June 2022 with 5 open online lecture series and 4 sets of learning objectives for the limited complete course.

The 2nd Global Academic Program on Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics Open Online Lecture Series will be held 5 times with the topic and lecturers as follows:

  1. Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Dra. Asmarinah, MS (Doctoral Program in Biomedical Science – Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia) – The Human Genome
  2. Prof. Paul Haggarty, BSc., Ph.D. (The Rowett Institute University of Aberdeen) – Genetics vs. Environment (epigenetic):
    1. “Gene-nutrient interactions; how to interpret and exploit these in nutrition studies”
    2. “Environmental and nutritional interaction with the genome; the role of epigenetics”
  3. Dr. Ir. Umi Fahmida, MSc (SEAMEO RECFON) – Bioavailability of Nutrients
  4. Dr. Felix Mesak (DNATraccia Biotechnologies) – Nutrigenetic and Nutrigenomic: Application of Omic Technology in Optimization of Human Nutrition
  5. Prof. Paul Haggarty, BSc., Ph.D. (The Rowett Institute University of Aberdeen) – Concept of personalized/optimum nutrition:
    1. “Nutritional Recommendations for Optimal Health”
    2. “Genomics and Nutritional Recommendations”

This Program also offers a complete course for those interested with 4 learning objectives as follows:

The complete course of this program offers more profound insight into nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics, but the participant is limited to 10 participants only.

This program aims to give more understanding of how nutrients and genes interact to affect individual health. The 2nd Global Academic Program on Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics adalah program global bersama tahunan dari Program Doktor Ilmu Biomedis – FKUI, SEAMEO – RECFON, dan The Rowett Institute University of Aberdeen. Program akan dimulai dari 23 Mei 2022 hingga 29 Juni 2022 dengan 5 seri kuliah online terbuka dan 4 set tujuan pembelajaran untuk kursus lengkap terbatas.
