About Me

Prof. Dr. Fadilah, S.Si., M.Si. is a prominent Indonesian scientist and Full Professor of Medical Bioinformatics at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FKUI), where she concurrently serves as the Head of the Department of Medical Chemistry and the Head of the Bioinformatics Core Facilities at the Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI). Her groundbreaking research spans health big data, genomics, in silico drug discovery from Indonesian natural products, and molecular docking simulations, making her a vital leader in driving advanced computational medical research and evaluating national scientific grants.

Research Overview

Molecular Docking & Molecular Dynamics: Simulating how drug molecules interact with and bind to target proteins inside the human body.Virtual Screening: Screening thousands of chemical compounds simultaneously to identify the molecules with the greatest potential to become drugs.Cancer Research: Developing active compounds targeting breast cancer (such as research on the Pinostrobin compound from the temulawak plant/Kaempferia pandurata) to test their effectiveness in silico before proceeding to laboratory in vitro testing.
