Professor Andon completed his general medical education in 1985 at FKUI. Then continued his specialist education at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology FKUI-RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo in 1994 and became a consultant in Reproductive Fertility and Endocrinology in 2003. In 2017 doctor Andon continued his Masters in Hospital Management at Gajah Mada University together with Doctor of Medicine at the University of Indonesia and the Netherlands Institute for Brain Research / Neuroendo Netherlands, the Netherlands. Some of the training participated by Doctor Andon include endoscopic laparoscopy courses in Brussels Belgium and Research Fellow at the Maxplanck Institute, Munich Germany for 3 months.

Aside from being active as a teaching staff of Doctor Andon, he is also active in professional organizations, including being Secretary General of the Management Board of the Indonesian Gynecology Obstetrics Association (PB POGI) in 2015-2018, Chair of the Reproductive Fertility and Endocrinology Association (HIFERI) 2013-2017. He is also active in international organizations

Professor Andon is also active in conducting scientific research and publications. He has research interests in the fields of PCOS, Nutrition and Gynecological Problems, Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Ovarian Axis as well as Menopause and Neuropeptide / Neurosteroid. Some of his most recent publications in international journals are “Triglycerides, independent of the Ferriman Gallwey Score, is a main determinant of free testosterone index in PCOS” in 2019 in F1000 and Neurofibrillary Pathology in the Infundibular Nucleus in Relation to Age and Abnormal Hormone Levels in 2019 2019 in the Indonesian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Some of the awards that Doctor Andon has won include the best FKUI researcher in 2005, Directorate of Innovation and Business Incubator (DIIB) Award, Indonesia Innovation and Entrepreneruship.Exhibition, Intellectual Property Category – Registered Patent in 2016 and Satyalencana XXX honors in the year 2016
